Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Admin Regulatory Officer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our quick-service restaurant complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Your responsibilities will include keeping up-to-date with applicable laws, developing and implementing compliance policies, and acting as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices that affect the restaurant’s operations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the restaurant and regulatory agencies, including the health department, OSHA, AMAC, and EPA.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to fleet operations, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and inspection records.
  • Oversee the inventory of spare parts and essential fleet supplies.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and communicate updates to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure thorough record-keeping to demonstrate compliance efforts.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting required regulatory reports and filings.
  • Regularly update databases and create reports on fleet activities, such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and repairs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including repair shops, fuel suppliers, and insurance providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or administrative roles, preferably within the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to quick-service restaurant operations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
